Eigen Network and Gevulot unite on batch-prover offloading
If you are thinking about building on Gevulot, register a key to get access to Devnet for free proof generation and verification. Or fill out this form if you are interested in joining the network as a prover node operator.
It’s our pleasure to announce another integration partner in our pipeline, Eigen Network. Eigen zkVM is a layered proof system, allowing developers to write zero-knowledge applications, proving with the layered proof system to achieve a trustless setup, constant on-chain proof size, low gas cost, and finally generating the solidity verifier. The immediate benefits are clear when deploying Eigen zkVM to Gevulot’s decentralized prover layer freeing businesses from developing their proof circuits and running their infrastructure. This collaboration provides future developers with massive acceleration in their go-to-market launches.
Gevulot stands out as the universal proving infrastructure for the ZK stack, offering ZkCloud— an internet-scale ZK cloud network. A robust set of unannounced partners is in the pipeline as all prover systems eventually need a corresponding infrastructure provider for decentralization. Eigen zkVM is one such ecosystem player that offers a robust suite of features designed for scalability and privacy. It supports Solidity Bytecode and can be deployed across Ethereum, Polygon, and BSC, utilizing a layered proof system with FRI and KZG for efficient proof generation and low on-chain verification costs by using Gevulot’s ZkCloud. The system includes a general ZK standard library for privacy-preserving computation, featuring AES, ECDSA, SHA256, and ZK random. It ensures security by leveraging Layer 1 consensus for transaction finality and employs a decentralized sequencer with fast chained-BFT for consensus on final transactions. Additionally, it enhances the developer experience with high EVM equivalence and automatic transpilation from Solidity Smart Contracts to its assembly language for arithmetization.
ZkCloud’s versatility spans the entire ZK Stack, from other zkVMs, ZK L2s, and even prover networks. By supporting any proof system, Gevulot aggregates proving workloads across the industry, dramatically amortizing compute costs that have held back ZK technologies from flourishing. Keep an eye out for Eigen zkVM’s prover to be deployed to Gevulot’s Firestarter, which will soon be released.
Our partnership represents a forward-looking commitment to enabling developers to deploy zkVMs that are both user-friendly and affordable and seamlessly integrate with the diverse tooling in the modular ecosystem. By combining our efforts, we strive to deliver transparent, verifiable, and trustless systems, facilitating global-scale collaboration. With the Eigen zkVM prover deployed to Firestarter, we invite businesses interested in exploring permissionless, highly programmable, and cost-effective solutions to engage and experience these innovations firsthand.
“Eigen zkVM leverages Gevulot’s permissioned mainnet, Firestarter - the live GPU cloud cluster to build our proof network unlocking new possibilities for scalability and acceleration, and has launched its efficient EStark Prover on Gevulot! With this solid infrastructure, we have saved lots of operational cost, and are able to focus on the development of our network itself,” says Stephen Duan, Founder and CEO of Eigen Network
