Nexus zkVM, is now collaborating with Gevulot for enhanced proof generation capabilities. Nexus zkVM, an open-source, modular, and high-performance zkVM crafted in Rust, recently unveiled Nexus zkVM 2.0, integrating seamlessly with Gevulot's Firestarter platform. This integration offers an immediate, hassle-free solution for deploying zkVMs, simplifying the design of proof circuits and the management of underlying infrastructure.
Nexus has also recently introduced the Nexus SDK, marking a significant step towards its testnet launch. This SDK introduces:
Programmatic Guest/Host Interaction: Developers can now initialize the zkVM with a program and generate proofs for various inputs programmatically, enhancing the capabilities of the Nexus CLI.
Asynchronous Proof Generation: Utilizing parallel Rust frameworks like Rayon, developers can compute multiple proofs simultaneously, leveraging all available CPU cores.
Ergonomic SDK Interface: Designed for ease of use and customization, this interface abstracts the zkVM's complexities while offering advanced options like Nova, SuperNova, HyperNova, and Spartan+Jolt for different performance needs.
Through this partnership, Gevulot's Firestarter, a v1 of the upcoming ZkCloud mainnet, will integrate with the Nexus network testnet. Firestarter, already production-ready, aims to provide vast computational resources, targeting a capacity increase to 1 trillion Hz. ZkCloud is designed to support the full spectrum of the ZK Stack, including various zkVMs, ZK L2s, and other prover networks, thereby reducing compute costs across the board.
“We're excited to welcome Gevulot to the Nexus network. We are impressed by the work done on the Firestarter platform and by the vast computational resources they provide. We look forward to working with the Gevulot team to make the proving process streamlined and more cost-effective for everyone,” says Daniel Marin, CEO and Founder of Nexus.
This collaboration between Nexus and Gevulot signifies a commitment to making zkVM deployment more accessible and cost-effective, while enhancing integration with the broader modular blockchain ecosystem. Together, we aim to foster transparent, verifiable, and trustless systems that encourage global collaboration. We invite businesses keen on exploring highly scalable, programmable, and economically viable solutions to join us and witness these advancements in action.
“By integrating our ZkCloud infrastructure with Nexus' zkVM, we’re creating a pathway for developers to deploy faster, more cost-efficient ZK solutions. Partnering with Nexus doesn't just expand our capacity, it also shapes the future of scalable, verifiable computation for a broad spectrum of applications,” says Teemu Päivinen, CEO and Co-founder of Gevulot.
